President, Senior Fire Protection Engineer
Kerry Madigan is the President, Principal, and Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Veritas. Kerry has over 40 years of experience in the design of fire protection systems, smoke management systems, and building design. She has worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and consulting firms in Nebraska and Colorado, working on numerous industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential projects. She is adept at assessing fire, building code compliance, and evaluating code equivalencies. Kerry is a registered Fire Protection Professional Engineer in Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Mississippi, Alabama, Montana, New Mexico, California, and Hawaii. She is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, the International CodeCouncil, the American Fire Sprinkler Association, and the National Fire Protection Association.
Kenneth Sutton, P.E.
Senior Fire Protection Engineer
Ken is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with over 40 years of experience designing and inspecting fire protection systems for industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential projects. Ken’s work in the fire protection industry has included assessing code compliance, evaluating code equivalencies, sales and cost estimating, design, inspection, and claims management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Ken is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Wyoming.

Bryan is a NICET IV Senior Engineering Technician with over twenty years of experience in the security, fire alarm, and fire suppression industry. He is proficient in the design of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and security systems and is also responsible for CAD management and standards.

As our administrator at Veritas, Ann plays a crucial role in various administrative tasks within the company and supports the entire engineering and design team. Ann has strong drawing and design preparation utilizing AutoCAD and has worked at Veritas for 7 years. Additionally, she holds an EIT (Engineer in Training) certification.

Benjamin is an EIT Fire Protection Engineer. He has over 10 years of experience in fire suppression and fire alarm design for a variety of building types. Benjamin’s primary duties include consulting on fire protection and life safety, designing with architects and engineers, reviewing contractor plans, and consulting on hazardous materials code.

Jeremiah’s expertise in CAD drawing production and design for low-voltage systems makes him a valuable asset to Veritas. With his NICET certification in fire alarm design and 10 years of service at the company, he has developed a deep understanding of the industry and best practices. His 23 years of experience in the low voltage industry also demonstrates his commitment and knowledge of the field.
William Hedgepeth
Fire Protection Consultant
William has a strong background in CAD, particularly in 3D modeling, complex system diagram production, and process flow diagrams. His specialization in tools like AutoCAD and CADworx indicates a high level of proficiency in these software packages. William demonstrates a specific focus on creating fire alarm designs.

As a senior engineering consultant, Vic is a highly experienced and knowledgeable professional in fire protection design, project management, and construction estimating. With over 30 years of experience and a NICET IV certification, he has developed a deep skillset in designing, implementing, and consulting for all different fire protection systems, including residential, pre- action, dry, deluge, foam, high-piled storage, rack storage, and ESFR systems.
